Find/Remove Duplicate Lines from Text

This online tool will remove/delete all duplicate lines within your text file or list. NOTE: Javascript must be enabled.

Find Mode REL Display Removed

Enter your text here*, select options and click a duplicate removal function button from above.
*Duplicate text removal is only between content on new lines and duplicate text within the same line will not be removed.

For Case Sensitive duplicate removal use the "CS" button located to the right of the "Remove Duplicate Lines" button.
Checking the "Find Mode" checkbox will find duplicate lines without removing them. (e.g. DUPLICATE=>some text line<=DUPLICATE)
Checking the "REL" checkbox will remove all blank/empty lines.
Checking the "Display Removed" checkbox will open a new text box below for displaying all found/removed lines prefixed with their line number.

Example:
Click the "Remove Duplicate Lines" button and watch these duplicate lines become one.
Click the "Remove Duplicate Lines" button and watch these duplicate lines become one.
Click the "Remove Duplicate Lines" button and watch these duplicate lines become one.

Clicking "Word2Line" will convert all words onto new lines and "B" will convert each word back into being separated by a space.
Clicking "Sentence2Line" will to convert all sentences onto new lines and "B" will convert each sentence back into being separated by a space.
These two features can be used to check for duplicate words or sentences within a body of text. (Line formatting will be lost.)

WARNING: Please keep your input text under 10,000 lines or this program could become unresponsive. Lists over 5000 lines are slow to process.
